Is a registered non-governmental organization and an official affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation.
Since our founding in 2014 by a small group of passionate volunteers, we have grown into a vibrant community of over 500 members dedicated to making free knowledge accessible to every Ugandan. Based at Kanjokya House in Kampala, we bridge the gap between local culture and global information.

A Uganda where every person has access to free knowledge in their own language and where local communities actively contribute to the world's largest collaborative knowledge projects.
Our Mission
To promote free knowledge and digital literacy across Uganda by supporting Wikimedia projects, organizing community events, and empowering local contributors to share their knowledge with the world.
